Kritter - Unannounced animation project

A few years back, I was asked to design a sidekick creature for the main characters of an animation pitch. The creature needed to be cute and spunky with a hint of the alien, as it would be inhabiting a sci-fi world.

We ended up deciding on this adorable little bioluminescent salamander with a hidden third eye.
